This past week, my friend Martha and I had a garage sale at her house. Since we had particularly chilly weather on three of the mornings we did the sale, I stopped by Starbucks and picked us both up our favorite cups of coffee.....hers is a White Chocolate Mocha, mine is a Peppermint Mocha. Mmmmmm.....they tasted good.
But the second morning I stopped at Starbucks, I decided perhaps I've been drinking too many Peppermint Mochas. First of all, as I pulled into the Starbucks parking lot, my son exclaimed from the backseat, "I THOUGHT this is where we were going!!!" But the kicker was after I finished at the drive-thru and was pulling away. That was when little Katie's voice piped up from the back seat, "You got you Pepper Mocha, Mama??"
To top it all off, I was telling my friend about this incredible
conversation once we got to her house, and to prove my point, I asked Katie to tell me what I
was drinking. She sweetly responded, "A Pepper Mocha".
I can't believe my two year old knows what I order at Starbucks......
But don't think that's going to stop me from ordering another one in the near future!!!
